Louis

August 9, 2017

Hi Helen, just thought I would let you know how our "Pomroth Lovable Louis" (our new title for him!) is getting on. He had his first clip yesterday and the groomer said he was a very good boy. I am enclosing a photo of him taken here when he came back - he looks quite proud of himself! He also went to the vets for his rabies shot and was pronounced in very good health. He continues to enjoy his walks and is becoming a little monkey at times, up to all sorts of tricks, but he makes us laugh.

Hope you and your "girls" are well.
Sincerely,
Jenny & Michael.

Hi Helen,
I am sending along a photo of Prada from Christmas time. She is sitting on the couch next to Tim looking very demure wearing some Xmas green hair ties.

All I can say is thank goodness Prada is a seasoned traveler! She is so darned quiet and well behaved in her Sherpa at the airport/airplane. She is an absolute gem! I love her to bits!! (and so does Tim...and Christine too!).

Now that it is 2017, I wish you a happy and healthy year ahead! Happy new year!

MRS HELEN

Thought I would forward a few pictures of what Kari is up to now days. First she has taken over my morning chair as I wait for Marge to get organized, she use to sit on my knee but now it's beat the old man to his/my (Kary's) chair. Second she spent a little cautions time in the pool on the real hot days this summer on the hotter days she  would let you pick her up. On the cooler days kept an eye on street. Thirdly when there is a low keyed gathering she makes sure to be front and center, even up on mother in laws (92) knee. Other wise all is well on this end and it was a great summer. Hope all is good on your end.

This is my gorgeous Pomroth Black girl, Elisa. Terrible pictures but she is the love of my life and my " heart dog". The pictures don't show how beautiful she is....perfect top line, perfect straight up tail, magnificent almond eyes and gorgeous face. She is perfect in every way and the sweetest most obedient girl in the world. I would give anything for a clone of her. I appreciate having her in my life and I never take her for granted. I am so blessed that she is my baby. Every time I look at her I say "Wow". Thank you so much for the great gift of Elisa.

Hello,

I just wanted to let you know that our doggie now has a name - Laurent.

Laurent is the most well-natured dog I've ever had/seen, and my whole family adores him. Like my first love, Henri, he is so smart and easily trainable.

Laurent

Co-bred with Bellefleet Poodles

He's already mastered going up and down stairs, playing "fetch", he wipes his feet when he comes inside, he does his business outside (unless I miss his cues), and he now brushes his own teeth (with supervision, no fears)... I am shocked at how similar he is to my first dog, not that I should compare but it's just uncanny. He has met most of the new dogs on our street and goes for walks with them on occasion. Everyone loves his coat and marvels at his colour.

Thanks for breeding and raising the most wonderful pet!!

Take care,
Kariné

Pepper

February 11, 2014

Hi Helen,

It's had to believe that our Pepper is three. As you can see he's very well and such a joy to us.

This year he went to school and did very well, though I have to admit it didn't seem very hard for him. It would seem he's a natural performer, especially when everyone is looking. (little monkey)

Our groomer has fallen in love with him and tells me he greets everyone that comes in with a little speech and a full body wag.

We're so very grateful he's in our lives. We can't thank you enough.

Hello Helen,

Just a note to update you on Meggie, she is doing very well, she is quite confident and content with her new home and extended family.

She is such a wonderful companion, her week day routine consists of morning, afternoon and evening walks but her weekends involve a lot more activity
including her first boating experience and a long car trip (8 hours) to Northern Ontario, she was excellent at both.

Thank you again for letting us bring Meggie into our family.

Hi Helen,

Sorry I didn't get a message out last night, it was a long, tiring drive for everyone.

Without further ado, may I introduce you to Pomroth Silver Polish "Pepper"

We really could not have found a more perfect match. Everyone is really looking forward to meeting him; but, for now we're all staying close and relaxing out of the heat.

Pepper's not quite up to his regular quantities of food and I'd like to see him drink more. Six eyes are watching though. It's tempting to be on call 24/7, we have to remind ourselves puppies need quiet time too.

We can't thank you enough for placing this sweet, loving boy with us. We are all feeling our fortune these days.

I'll keep sending updates with photos if you like and hope you get your silver female in the next litter.

Hi Helen,

Just an update on Calypso, the perfect combination of beauty, brains, and temperament. As you know, she finished her championship in just two weekend. Then we started Obedience, in which you need to pass three times at each level in order to earn a title. She not only passed her first three times out, she took High in Class (first place) each time to earn her Companion Dog title. She breezed through her Canine Good Neighbor (the CKC temperament test). Now we are working in Rally and have joined a fly ball team. She enters every venue with a bark that says, "I'm here. Let the fun begin." She does firmly believe she is the Queen of the Universe. If I can keep up with her we should go far. Kazz can be very proud of his little girl. I know I am.

Christmas 2003

Merry Christmas to you and yours Helen! Little Pablo is just wonderful. He is spoiled rotten, but he's such a good boy. He is definitely an "alpha" boy. He rules the roost around here! And gets away with it too.

I have been waiting for a video via email that an acquaintance took this past summer of Pablo swimming with his life jacket. For now, I've sent you some photos. He loves to swim as you can see.

We absolutely adore him and feel so lucky to have him be part of our family.

Best wishes in the new year!

Hi Helen,

We got a new picture of the 2 girls and I today that I think you will like better.  Sophie and Sara are doing very well together and Sophie seems very comfortable here.  I have booked her spay for the first week of August as I am off that week and can give her lots of extra TLC.

Take Care,

Hello Helen,

I thought you would appreciate an update on Natalie. She is a wonderful dog!!

She is so very calm, so very quiet - just what I wanted. We bonded on the ride back to Sarnia with her on my lap in a foam basket thingy which is now her bed. I fed her occasionally teeny tidbits of that treat you gave me and I quickly became her favourite person. I felt this was very important - that she bond quickly with someone so everyone/thing would not be so terribly strange.

She did not have one accident so far - either in car or in house. She "puddles" nicely outside, almost on cue. Very cute! :)

She ate her supper eagerly last night moments after we got home which was about 5:30, then off we went to a very quiet card evening. We took "Nattie" with us and she was fine there. She slept well in a newly purchased kennel last night and after going puddle outside at 8am, I took her into bed with me and I learned very quickly that she knew exactly what to do in bed! :) Snuggle snuggle:).

She follows me around like, well, like a puppy and I love it:) Right now she is in her comfy foam bed at my feet, curled up and feeling very secure.

I did brush her teeth last night and I am sure with practice I will get better at it. She was very accommodating though.

Also, this morning, our two tiels were introduced to "Nattie". Nattie was fairly unimpressed and because she was, our tiels came within inches before Nattie's tongue began to lick her lips. :) Hehe, very cute.

I think this is going to work out just fine here. I love how trained she is and how calm she is. One couldn't ask for much more in a dog. :)

Well, that's it for now.

- Ann

Hello Helen,

This is an amazing dog.  She has settled in very quickly.  In the car she was more curious than fearful about the trip.  The first thing she did when we arrived was to pee in the appropriate area.  She already is walking in and out of the elevator, going up and down stairs,  viewing the passers-by with interest and greeting people.  She seems very mature for her age, even tempered, cautious but courageous, adaptable and co-operative.  There is a certain serenity about her, a grace and dignity.  She is much admired.  I am delighted with her.  Thank you very much for the privilege of taking care of her.

I just wanted to send you an update on Lenny.  He is amazing!  The love of my life!!! As you probably know, he had his 1st birthday on July 30th.  He is a very social boy with lots and lots of friends and admirers.  We did 4 levels of puppy/obedience school and we will be starting a tricks class this week! He is so loving, smart, playful and absolutely the sweetest most adorable!!!! I am constantly stopped by people everywhere I go who want to say hello to him and wonder where I got him.  Here are a few recent pictures of my boy! I hope you and all the dogs are great.

All the best,
Kaylie

Ch. Pomroth Wild Ginger

Helen,

I just wanted to send you a quick update on Ginger and a couple of pics.  She is doing so well here.  She is so doting and loving.  We couldn't have asked for a more loyal companion.  :)
She was groomed for Christmas the other day and she looked fabulous with little red bows in her ears.  We have already started packing her Christmas stocking with bones and all sorts of tastey treats.  She is going to be a very hapy little girl.  She loves going for long walks in the park with my Mother's Cavaliers one of which we will be taking her on shortly.

Hope all is well with you and yours,

Best Wishes and Happy Holidays

Dear Helen,

We are thankful for our newest addition "Phoebe the Wonder Dog" to our family.  Please see enclosed attachment of our daughter and Phoebe, late summer in our yard. First, I need to tell you that there is "alot" of big dog in that tiny body of hers!  Helen, Phoebe is a "gatherer" of sticks as well as a bird chaser, bug toting, flower pulling and snow frolicking dog!!  Inside the house Phoebe can skidder across the hardwood with the best of them!  She still can't figure out the long whiskers on those goofy cat yet, the cats are very patience with her. She loves her meals and all her toys and her soft bed and her three mommies and especially her Daddy!  Phoebe has an interesting way of using her paw and tapping your hand or leg when she wants something...at night, she gently taps my husband on his head when she wants to go outside to go potty. I wish I could take credit for that one!  She is a very clever dog and we are very happy to have her in our home. Thank you Helen for such a stable and sound little doggie!  I appreciate all your hard work in producing such an enjoyable companion!

Sincerely,

Deborah Taylor

Ashley is coming up for six years old and this was our 2009 Christmas card photo.

Coming to see you and choosing Ashley was the best decision I ever made.  It is a match made in heaven.  We are together 24/7 and I have to keep reminding myself that she has legs :-)
